Gareth Bale
If anyone following European football didn’t know the name Gareth Bale before the 2010-11 season, they know it now. Bale was a huge part of Tottenham Hotspur winning their first-ever Champions League group, and pushing for a place in the Premier League title picture. His speed, agility, creativity and strength have made him one of the most sought-after transfer targets of the year, but he remains adamant that North London is where he will stay for the rest of his four-year contract. That should be music to Spurs fans’ ears.
