Fernando Torres
One of the best strikers in the world when he’s healthy and on form, Fernando Torres has been lighting up opponents at Liverpool for the past four seasons, while also doing his national duty for newly crowned World Cup champions Spain. Even after a disappointing World Cup (for him, certainly not his team), he was still one of the most sought-after transfer targets in the summer of 2010, and Torres will likely show his fans and detractors in the new season that he still has the golden touch, even if his famous golden locks have gone away. Perhaps his most famous moment is scoring the winner in Spain’s European Championships final victory over Germany in 2008.
