There’s no doubt that Didier Drogba is one of the best strikers in the world. He is sixth on his club side Chelsea’s all-time scoring list, and the all-time leading scorer for his nation, Cote d’Ivoire. But to many in his country and throughout Africa, he is more than just a footballer. His charity work and donations throughout the continent have only added to his legend, and include the donation of 3 million pounds for the construction of a hospital in his hometown. On the pitch, he isn’t so generous, though, shredding defenses as one of the most consistent and dangerous strikers in the Premier League or anywhere else.
